What to Expect
Dr. Theodore believes that a healthy mouth is the foundation of a beautiful smile. In our office, we take a proactive approach to preventative dental care. Your first visit will begin with a new patient exam and pre-clinical consultation. During this appointment, you'll have an opportunity to discuss your concerns and goals with Dr. Theodore and tour our office.
Our dental examinations typically include:
- Checking for tooth decay and fractures
- Charting existing tooth conditions and restorations
- Periodontal screening to check for signs of gum disease
- Oral cancer screening
- Occlusal and TMJ evaluation
- Digital dental x-rays when needed
Dr. Theodore will advise on a dental cleaning schedule which may be included as part of your first visit. If you have signs of gum disease, tooth decay or extensive tooth wear, we may schedule your dental cleaning on a future visit.
